Amreeta invited me to this belgian beer lounge over Christmas break, which was awesome first and foremost because I got to see the Mathais for the first time in way too long. Then the actual bar hit me: beers a plenty on tap, intense (but somehow not severe) décor, music of many nations and what should be the national belgian dish – mussels + frites. Being more wine than beer based, I felt super hip bringing Scott to sip merlot and admire the scene.
