JEFFERSON MARKET
450 Ave of the Americas (cross street: w. 11th)
[just about anything to 14th, Union Square]
After gorging on Chinese food, JP wanted to get some groceries that he couldn't get from back around his place. Because heaven forbid he should ever run out of Nutella.
The market, however, is incredible: every hoity toity thing you could possibly want was there; a vast array of olives, specialty sodas and (rat a tat tat) CHEESE. Blue cheese, hard cheese, soft cheese, smelly cheese, etc. Picked up about $12 of cheese at a good price while JP grabbed sweets of all shapes and sizes - he's a big kid, but he's my big kid. Yum.
