So we finally made it to Dinosaur BBQ - fake boy-friend, middle and high school chums in tow - on 4th of July weekend. Got a pitcher of Brooklyn Lager and more food than I would've wanted to shake a stick at. Ooh, and the sweetest corn bread this side of the Mason-Dixon; looking at the shine literally made my teeth hurt. The chicken was delicious, the ribs were tender, the mac + cheese was spicy (!!!), the greens were savory. Nope, no complaints here.

The waitstaff is lovely; should've made a reservation (caveat!!) but didn't - the wait was quoted to be 45-60minutes but we got through in 30flat. The food was super fast and our friendly waitress Strawberry commented that my friend was beautiful and even exchanged my white meat for dark meat (how was I to know that I really wanted a drumstick and that drumsticks are dark meat?) without spitting on my plate. We think.
