In my youth (a few months ago), I fancied myself familiar with the Lower East Side when in fact, I merely had a passing acquaintance with Delancey Street. However, I still felt the fool when I knew nothing of this bar/restaurant, rife with prints (I saw what looked like a promotional photo of a 16yr old Sinatra) and a menu that prominently features prosciutto - can't lose, can't lose. Our waitress was totally nice, even though we kept changing our minds ("We're done ... oh no wait, two more drinks, please.)" so we tipped her right good.
